obedience. #2Tim 3:15-17 Isa 8:20 Lu
16:29,31 Eph 2:20 Although the light of nature and the works
of creation and providence show the goodness, wisdom, and power of God, as to

1:32 2:1 yet they are not sufficient to give that
knowledge of God and his will necessary to salvation. #1Co 1:21 2:13,14 Therefore it pleased the Lord at various
times, and in different ways, to reveal himself, and to declare his will to
his Church; #Heb 1:1 and afterward, for the better preserving and
the propagating of the truth, and for the more sure establishment and comfort
of the Church against the corruption of the flesh, and the malice of Satan,
and of the world, the Lord committed this revelation wholly to writing; #Pr 22:19-21 Lu 1:3,4 Ro 15:4 Mt

most necessary, #2Ti 3:15 2Pe 1:19 since those former ways of God’s revealing
his will to his people have now ceased. #Heb 1:1,2 1Co 13:9,10 Pr 30:6 Re 22:18,19 |
