John 3:36 - "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he 
that believeth not the
Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

John 10:27 - "My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me. 
V28 - And I
give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish; neither shall 
any man pluck them
out of my hand. V29 - My Father, which gave them me is greater than all;

and no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hand."

John 5:13 - "These things have I written unto you that believe on the 
Name of the Son of
God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

For a while now I have been writing about the new birth - John Chapter 
3. What should
happen in the life of a person who believes on Christ? They now have 
eternal life and
should follow the Lord. God looks at the heart, and knows if we have 
really trusted Christ,
as our Saviour. People look at what we do, how we live. We are to be 
baptized and then
live for the One who died for us. II Corinthians 5: 14-15.

God desires that everyone who receives Christ know that they are saved 
through faith in
Christ alone. In John 3:36 God says "He that believeth on the Son hath 
everlasting life."
We have it now because God gives it to us as a gift. Romans 6:23 -
"The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
May I ask you a question - Do you know that you have eternal life?
